At our precision engineering hub in Bac Ninh, Vietnam, the application of 6000 Series aluminum alloys or high-purity copper combined with multi-axis CNC technology enables the fabrication of cooling plates with complex internal circulation channels. VINACNC's workflow focuses on ensuring absolute leak-tightness, high thermal stress resistance, and optimized LN2 flow rates to maintain stable ultra-low temperatures.

High-Performance LN2 Cooling System Machining Expertise

Fabricating heatsinks for Liquid Nitrogen requires rigorous control over materials and machining technology:

  • Internal Circulation Channel Machining: Utilizing deep-hole drilling or CNC spiral groove milling to create paths for LN2 circulation throughout the cooling plate. Channels are designed to maximize heat exchange surface area while minimizing flow pressure loss.

     

     

  • Thermal Contact Surface Treatment: The cooling plate surface is CNC milled to achieve ultra-fine surface roughness (micron level). This eliminates contact thermal resistance between the plate and the device being cooled, allowing for instantaneous heat transfer even in vacuum environments.

  • Cryogenic Grade Materials: Preferring 6061 aluminum or Oxygen-Free High Conductivity (OFHC) copper for their ability to maintain mechanical strength and superior thermal conductivity at deep cryogenic temperatures (down to $-196$°C).

     

     

  • Specialized Sealing Techniques: Implementing diffusion bonding or vacuum brazing to join cooling plate layers, ensuring the system remains leak-proof under the operating pressure of Nitrogen gas/liquid.

Professional Export Packaging and Preservation Process

LN2 cooling plate systems require strict protection to maintain surface flatness and the cleanliness of internal channels. VINACNC implements a rigorous international standard packaging process:

  1. Ultrasonic Cleaning and High-Pressure Drying: Thoroughly removes machining oils, metal dust, and moisture from internal circulation channels using ultrasonic waves and pure compressed air.

  2. Oxidation and Contamination Protection: Each cooling plate is wrapped in protective PE film and vacuum-sealed or placed in specialized VCI anti-rust paper to prevent salt-air humidity impacts during transit from Vietnam.

  3. Multi-layer Cushioning: Products are placed in thick shaped foam trays to eliminate mechanical vibration and impact that could deform the precision contact surfaces.

  4. International Standard Crating: Components are packed in fumigated wooden crates (ISPM 15 standard) or high-grammage reinforced cartons with secure strapping.

  5. Traceability Labeling: Clear labeling displaying part codes, specifications, and barcodes for efficient destination logistics control.
